Fickle Eulogy
Sensational twists and turns and bursts of comedy are woven into this true story monodrama about losing a mother to Covid19 during the pandemic. Join Ann as she tries to cope while preparing a eulogy, sifting through memories, regrets, blame and what-ifs, going to great lengths to procrastinate, embodying multiple characters all the while seeking advice from an AI device.
How do we grieve a death that seemed completely avoidable?
The undercurrents of this monodrama bring light to modern day Hawaii, addressing how at a crossroads the United States of America is with the dangers of propaganda, misinformation and disinformation, and acknowledging the realities of what many people had to face during the 2020 global pandemic.
Fickle Eulogy is currently seeking support groups focused on grief, to facilitate connections for those in need of support and funding for such groups.
Please consider donating to the project to bring awareness to bereavement groups and to bring Fickle Eulogy to cities across the USA and English speaking communities in Europe, UK, Asia and Africa. No amount is too small.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
